B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) is a two-year duration undergraduate course in nursing. Nurses are healthcare professionals who often work in hospitals or outpatient facilities to provide hands-on care to patients by monitoring their medical condition, administering medications, maintaining records and communicating with doctors.
In post basic BSc Nursing (also referred to as PBBSc), candidates are provided a holistic mixture of classroom lectures and hands-on training. Education Qualification

- Has a diploma degree in General Nursing and Midwifery course
- Passed H.S.C or equivalent discipline Subject
- Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwifery or Equivalent subject.
- Registration at the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwife Council.
Eligibility certificate from Dhaka University of Health Sciences to be produced
Admission procedures will be formulated and conducted by the concerned authority.

- There are total 17 courses in Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing, which are divided into 02 years.
- In each term there are 02 examinations which is conducted by affiliated university.
Curriculum Structure
The overall course structure is designed for 44 weeks out of 52 weeks in a year, covering theoretical and practical sessions including revision and year final examination. Remaining 8 weeks is kept for leaves and extra-curricular activities.
